How can I determine my PhD choices? Which one is better? I am so stressed and anxious.
Dr Clare and Dr Matteui are very nice and friendly. They are both young and smart. The lab members are also helpful, easy going and not many people. As for the proposed research project, developmental neurobiology of dorsal root neurons, neural crest cells and neural placodes, I personally like it. It is not too difficult and the people seem to be supportive. Do I have to think apart from the study? I mean my responsibilities in the future and my lifelong career path. Is PhD is enough for everything? Is it dependent to the content of PhD actally not the brand.
If I graduate with neurobiology, can I do research in other fields like pharmaceutical sciences or can I be a good pharmacy teacher? Although I assume that I can teach those subject snamely, bichemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and for sure neuroscience, is it enough.
I am a bit confused myself. Weerapong, what the important things in your life do you want to be happened? I feel like you want to hold too much hope and too much anxiety as well as unreasonable stress that definitely destroy your health and, importantly, internal happiness.
You told me that you wanted to complete the educational level as high and marvellous as possible. In the real world there is no the highest point though. If you are not happy in your present status you can reach other steps not that sufficient ones. This can make you suffer from the fake value given by uncertain things which are not the point for your peaceful life.
You not only have to think deeply again to assure what you want to do in your life but also have to look after your parents as well as develop good education for all Thai people. Therefore, please think again to balance all things I mentioned in order to fullfil your real needs.

Studying abroad, you\’ll get more than the degree qualification.
People always ask sth like "What are you studying?"
But always answer yourself for this question "What do you get from your studies?"

Answering this question is not too hard but not too easy as well. The most important thing is the most benefit outcome. This outcome means the outcome for yourselve, institute, Phar CU, and Thailand. How to weight out the research group which you should join? Choose the group that their work you admire, how productive they are. The institute have good infrastructure (equipment, patient samples, seminar series), and group that have enough grant funding not to limit your project too much. Hope you will findout soon.
